Co-founded by the Yuknalis family and illustrated by Oaklee Thiele, Little Dinos uses public art and illustration to initiate conversations about disability in a kid-friendly way.
From custom activity sheets and virtual classroom visits to collaborative workshops and in-person assemblies, Little Dinos helps students explore disability, inclusion, and community care through art. We create programming for grades Pre-K through 8, introducing kids to disability culture and history in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.
Little Dinos creates colorful art with authentic disability representation for hospitals, clinics, and schools. Each project is custom-designed in collaboration with staff to reflect the needs of your space. Email disabled artist Oaklee Thiele for a free consultation.
Little Dinos celebrates the lives and contributions of disabled people—past and present. Check out our ongoing series on our Instagram page, “Disabled Role Models Every Kid Should Know!” It’s a fun way for kids to see themselves reflected and learn about powerful changemakers in disability history.
Every purchase from our online shop helps fund free, bilingual resources for families with disabled kids!
Our printable coloring sheets help spark conversations about disability with kids of all ages. Finished a page? Share it with us! Tag @LittleDinosForLucas on Instagram or email OakleeThiele@gmail.com for a chance to be featured on our website and social media.
Little Dinos works with volunteer licensed medical professionals to create kid-friendly videos that explain diagnoses, tests, and procedures. These resources are designed to support families during tough times and help kids feel less scared, and more empowered, at the doctor’s office.
